Not Santa!!

I'm so excited for Christmas and we just about have all of our shopping done yay! I should have had it done before now but oh well what would Christmas be without last minute shopping because that's probably what its going to for the last couple of gifts we need to get lol.
We went to the ward Christmas party and my  father-in-law Steve dressed up as Santa Clause for the kids.  We took Addy to see Santa she was not to thrilled with that idea and scram the whole time.. haha I guess she didn't recognize her grampy..
I just had to share these with you.

Im back!

The last few years have been pretty rough for me health wise. I was super sick and it took 8 months and going to all sorts of Specialist multiple times a week and having numerous test done to figure out that I had gastro paresis. I was put on a strict diet and a medication which helped for a while but six months later I started having neurological problems that they decided was most likely fibromyalgia caused by the medications that they put me on for my stomach.  Well right after I found out what was the culprit for all my symptoms Bryce and I found out we were going to have baby. I quickly called my neurologist and told her the news. She said that this was probably the best thing that could have happened and pregnancy actually cured a lot of neurological problems and that there would only be a twenty percent chance of it coming back.  So even though we were not planning on little miss Addy I call her my miracle baby because having her took away all my medical problems and she has brought so much joy and happiness to my life.
Then came the pregnancy I was sick all the way in to the third trimester and when I finally started feeling better I fell on my stomach went into early labor and was put on bed rest for six weeks. I am so thankful it was only six weeks though I feel so bad for the women that are put on bed rest for most of there pregnancy I know I would go insane!  Thankfully Adaline decided to stay in until 38 weeks and was born healthy and strong.  I on the other hand had some serious complications. I am so thankful for the men in my life and that they are worthy to carry the Priesthood. Because I truly believe that if it wasn’t for the priesthood blessing I received I may not be here today. It took me a little longer than most people to recover due to my complications. But I am grateful for my friends and family that helped me and for those that helped watch Adaline why I recovered.
I have been dealing with postpartum depression for the last Seven months and trying to deal with feelings of resentment to those around me, not feeling like an adequate mother or wife, and feeling like the reason we are struggling is my fault due to my medical bills I racked up.  I am so thankful for Bryce he pretty much took care of our baby by him self for the first two weeks after she was born, did all the cleaning and cooked numerous meals for us. He has dealt with my depression and getting angry for no reason knowing that it was my hormones and instead of defending himself like most people would do him was just there to comfort me and knew that I really didn’t mean any of it. He truly is an amazing husband and I am so grateful for everything that he does for me I love him with all my heart and truly don’t know what I would do with out him.
Well I am glad to say that I AM BACK!! I finally feel like I did over two years ago before all of medical conditions started.  I feel happy, and content with where I am in my life. I may not have a lot but I do have an AMAZING husband, a beautiful daughter who brings joy to my life, food on the table, a roof over my head and clothes on my back.  That is all I need to be happy. I hope people don’t think that I wrote this to get sympathy because that is not what I am after.  I simply wanted to express my thankfulness. I truly am blessed.

Carseat Canopy pictures

I finally got pictures upload yay!! these are just some of the covers that i make... the more girly ones all have a decorative trim on the bottom and fun buttons or bows or a combo of both.  All of them have a slit up the middle ( which makes it a lot easier to check on your cute little bundle of joy! ) with buttons so you can easily close it.

Summer fun

Summer has gone by so fast this year but has also been lots of fun. Bryce and I have taken miss addy to the dinosaur museum and the aquarium we found out that she really loves fish! we had to stand infront of on tank for what seemed like an hour because everytime we pulled her away from it she would start screaming, then we would put her back in front of the tank and wa la she was as happy as can be. I think we are going to have to get a fish tank some day for the house if it entertains her that much. She wasnt so sure she liked the dinosaurs as much though i t think they might have been a little to scary for her lol me and bryce had lots of fun though we love going through museums. Although we felt a little ripped off as we were coming out of the museum we saw a sign that said the whole month of August was only two dollars. Meanless to say we went July 30th.. oh well it was still fun.
To start off the month of Agust we went to Starvation for a little fun in the sun and to play on our jet ski. We met my parents up there which was nice because they have a boat with an under cabin so addy was able to stay out of the sun. Although just as our luck would have it about an hour after he arrived a giant Storm came through and we were stuck under an EZ-UP for four hours. Luckly i brought lots of blankets because it sure was fun trying to watch everyone wrap up in a baby blanket. After the storm passed it turned out to be a beautiful day and we were finally able to enjoy being on the lake.
Around the middle of the month Bryce got a new job at Parleys Hardware as the store manager. Were so glad that this job opportunity opened up for him. after two he finally has a set schedule with decent hours, so we feel like we get to see each other unlike when he was at lowes and worked hours all over the place. Its been fun Parley has him going to the farmers market in orem every other weekend. So we take our little family and go down with him to help sell his olive oil from parleys. yea i know olive oil a little random for a hardware store... but hey its a really good price so why not haha..
For my Birthday i was given a sewing machine so iv been learning how to sew and found that i really enjoy it! One of the the things i have been making are Carseat Canopys. I have had fun making them out of different fabric then what everyone else has. I have had so many people ask where i got it or if i sold them so i have started going to the farmers market on the Saturdays Bryce doesnt work and selling them, along with burp cloths that iv been making.
we took our little princess to the doctors today and found out that she is doing very well and growing good. Were excited because we got the ok to start solid food! yay to maybe helping her sleep though the night better.. boo to stinkier diapers haha... were going to be moving her into her own bedroom this next week because the doctor says we need to ignore her at night when she cries because she is old enough now that she doesnt need to eat during the night anymore. thats going to be rough on me because of that dang motherly instinct she cries and i just want to make it better, so will see how this goes... well were excited to bring in fall Bryce and I just love everything to do with fall and Halloween well thats all for tonight...

july so far

I cant believe july is already half way over! its been fun so far with celebrating the 4th and my birthday, we have enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Adaline is two months old now, which me and bryce cant even believe. Everyone has always told us how fast they grow up, but i didnt think it would go by this fast!
Addy is reaching all of her milestones and some of them alot soon than she should be is what the dr said. She can now roll over from her belly to her back when she wants to lol. she is always smiling and giggling. and weighs 12.5oz now i cant believe what a chunk she is lol. we had to box up most of her 0-3 month clothes because she now fits great in 3-6 months. but whats really exciting is she is sleeping 3-4hrs at night and oh man do we sure enjoy the extra hour or two of sleep! We also found out that she loves laying out side in the shade!

having fun with daddy

she loves max
